Refund Policy
At Book Publishing Corp (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), we deliver customized, end-to-end publishing, editing, design, distribution, and marketing solutions tailored to each author’s unique project specifications. Because our services involve dedicated labor, intellectual property creation, and custom production workflows from project initiation, all refunds are strictly governed by the specific terms outlined in your signed service agreement or project contract.
Scope of Refund Eligibility
Contract-Governed: Refunds are not guaranteed and are evaluated strictly in accordance with the refund, cancellation, and milestone terms specified in your individual contract or signed proposal.
Work Commenced: Once work on a project or milestone has commenced – including but not limited to initial consultations, manuscript review, editing, outline drafting, cover concept development, or distribution setup – fees paid for that phase or deliverable are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise in your contract.
Custom Deliverables: Completed or approved deliverables (such as finalized edits, formatted files, completed cover artwork, website builds, or distributed book files) are non-refundable.
Cancellation & Milestone Refunds
Any request to pause, cancel, or modify a project must be submitted in writing to your assigned account director or via email to contact@bookpublishingcorp.com.
If a project is cancelled prior to completion, any potential partial refund or credit for unperformed future milestones will be determined solely based on the contract terms governing early termination and the percentage of work completed to date.
Non-Refundable Items
Unless otherwise specified in your client agreement, the following fees are strictly non-refundable:
Third-party platform listing, ISBN registration, or copyright filing fees incurred on your behalf.
Custom illustration, audiobook narration, or media production expenses once production has begun.
Processing, merchant, or banking transaction fees associated with payment installments.
